Who is this membership for?

How much time will I need to do all the activities each month?

That's up to you since you can pick and choose which lessons that you want to do in each module. We suggest breaking a module up into five learning lessons.

  • "Family Lesson" which includes a video and reading
  • Field trip which will take about two hours
  • Nature journaling, data analysis, etc. after the trip
  • "At-Home Activities" such as labs and building projects
  • "Going Further" articles, videos, podcasts, and activities
Do I have to be good at science to use this membership in my homeschool?
  • No, not at all! We provide you with step-by-step PDF guides and videos.
  • We do the teaching so that you don't have to! 
  • We design our lessons so that you can learn alongside your kids.
  • We guide you to to be able to do hands-on science with minimal effort!
Do I need to purchase special equipment?
  • No, you most likely own most of the materials.
  • Splurge items would be binoculars or a small microscope.
How long will I have access to the membership materials and community?
  • You have access to ALL the modules for as long as you maintain your subscription.
  • You can download and print all of the PDFs for future use.
What if we find that the membership isn't a fit for us?
  • You can cancel at any time. Just send an email to sue@thefieldtripacademy.com
  • Your membership will run until your subscription end date.
